Skip the hype. Here’s where locals eat:

• Columbia Harbour House (Magic Kingdom) – Upstairs = peace.
• Skipper Canteen – Adventurous, quiet, and rarely full.
• Fortuna Bakery (Celebration) – Our off-property reward stop for the best empanadas around.

🔥 Snack Hack: Mobile order Dole Whip while in line for Pirates and waltz right up when it’s ready.

• Park at Disney Springs and catch a resort bus if you’re dining or resort-hopping.
• Monorail loops are the best free rides in Disney. We use them to cool off, snack-hop, or feel fancy.
• Always have: sunscreen, wipes, battery pack, and a backup shirt. You’re not above sweat. None of us are.

Disney is magical—but Celebration, Florida is where the locals live that magic daily. It’s a master-planned town originally developed by Disney, and after six years here, I can confidently say: it’s not just postcard-perfect—it’s a real community with incredible charm (and snacks).

Here are my go-to spots you won’t find on your Disney app:

• Downtown Celebration – Brick streets, a lakefront promenade, and an old-school movie theater.
• Starbucks Celebration – Great for a post-run coffee or a mid-deal caffeine boost.
• Fortuna Bakery & Cafe – Empanadas, pastries, and strong coffee.
• Upper Crust Pizza – A local pizza gem near the lake.
• Columbia Restaurant – Cuban bread and sangria = date night done right.
• Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming – For your dog’s own version of Disney magic.
• Celebration Farmers Market – Held every Sunday with local vendors, fresh produce, and good vibes.
• AdventHealth Fitness Center – My daily gym and a local training hub for runDisney regulars.
